Alvin Row is a Pittsburgh-based electronic project, fusing the introspection of ambient, intimate moments from found sounds and voice recordings, and drum breaks, creating music that is both organic and recognizable, while surreal and interior. Philosophically indebted to DJ sets, live sets form a collage of all these sounds blurred into one cohesive piece, where the lines between songs become unclear for both artist and audience. Spencer (Alvin Row) has also made contributions to albums released by other acts, Merce Lemon (Moonth, Watch Me Drive Them Dogs Wild) and Aunt Katrina (This Heat is Slowly Killing Me).
