Pinkwench is a powerful shoegaze act from Baltimore, MD. This 3-piece prides themselves on relentlessly delivering a full, haunting sound … and they are damn good at it. Their single Ophelia was described accordingly by The Revue: “The dissonant guitar is transformed into a menacing machine of reverb, the rhythms become jackhammers, and Alemi’s vocals become fierce and intense. When all these elements come together at the climax, a truly ‘oh my goodness’ moment arrives.” After playing shows around the Baltimore/DC area for a hot minute, this group is continuing to turn heads in one of the country’s most progressive music scenes.
